Hi and welcome to my first Your Savvy Studio blog!

Iโ€™m Sara, the founder of Your Savvy Studio and my aim is to provide practical social media marketing help to small business owners in the Wellness sector.ย

These blogs will include useful info to help you with your social media marketing as I know that this can be a big headache for business owners like sound healers, reflexology therapists and holistic coaches. Youโ€™ll find useful and practical design tips here and in my socials, take a look at the links below.

Why have I been quiet recently?

I have had first hand experience lately about what a headache it is to keep on top of your business socials when you are trying to focus on other aspects of your business. I have recently changed my business name from Your Savvy VA to Your Savvy Studio, Iโ€™ll get more into that below. It wasnโ€™t an easy decision as this is the name I had been growing for the last 2 years. This, however, meant I needed a new domain and I then needed to create a brand new website, no mean feat.

I had to switch my attention completely to the website, mainly because with school holidays in full swing, I could only focus on it for small chunks and had to keep picking up where I left off!

Iโ€™m really chuffed to say that I pushed through and have now created the main pages of my website and they look sooo much better than the first one. I’m more than a little pleased with myself for creating a website that reflects the quality of my work and for picking up a whole new skill along the way!

Why did I rebrand?

I decided to change my company name and move away from the generic Virtual Assistant umbrella. It didnโ€™t really describe what I had been working on with my clients, social media design, strategy and content creation (things I love to do!) instead of general admin.

So, I changed my company name from VA to Studio so I donโ€™t get lost in the hubbub of admin work and those businesses that need my help can find me more easily!

Whatโ€™s changed?

Whilst creating my new website, I have taken the opportunity to really have a good look at the services and packages I offer to my customers. I wanted to make sure they reflected not just the work that I have been doing but also a clear structure for new clients where I can truly help them with their business marketing.

So, I decided on three new packages:

  1. Brand & Authority Polish – To polish up your existing social media graphics to make them look as professional as the services you offer without needing to be a marketing or Canva expert or spending your precious downtime staring at a blank page.
  1. Launch and Event Marketing Support – Launching a product or event is an immense amount of work and the marketing of this hard work can sometimes fall into an after-thought. I can take this off your plate and ensure you enjoy your launch instead of feeling frazzled.
  1. Core Services Visibility – This is the bread and butter of social media marketing design where I create your graphics so you can keep a consistent and effective presence while you carry on with the day to day of your business.

I have listened to my current clients and the issues they have had with marketing their own Wellness businesses and I hope that these three packages really address the issues that they and other Wellness practitioners face when trying to build their business. If I can help alleviate the mayhem and associated stress that comes with this side of things and allow Wellness businesses to do their thing helping others, I will be very happy.

What hasnโ€™t changed?

It is still me behind the brand and I bring my decade worth of knowledge working in digital marketing for small businesses plus my artistic skills so I can really ensure your social media graphics hit both the eye-catching side and the marketing side of the coin. I want to use the experience and passion I have to help other small business owners grow their business and this drive ensures I do my very best with each project.

How did I survive my rebrand?

Firstly, I knew it was the right thing to do to enable me to grow my own business but I also got there from sheer determination to make things better. I couldnโ€™t have done it without breaking down my tasks into manageable chunks and the same goes for my own social marketing.

I have been out and about in the lovely sunshine and with my kids so Iโ€™ve taken the opportunity to take some photos to use in my socials.

I have leant into AI, not to create my graphics as I think you can see them from a mile off, but to help me organise my thoughts and formulate a plan.

I have also returned to the technique I seem to be using throughout my life, which is โ€˜batchingโ€™. If you haven’t heard of batching it means to sit and create a number of the same things to build a stock for using later. It could be to make a double portion of a meal and freeze one for another day or with regard to socials I like to create a few on the same theme to be scheduled in the weeks to come. That way I donโ€™t have to think every day โ€˜what am I going to post?โ€™ there will be more on this in future blogs as I really do think it is the way to go!
